Abstract

Chemical, physical, and biological properties are determined in large part by interactions between molecules on the nanometer length scale. Our group works to understand molecular interactions using laser spectroscopy and advanced imaging with nanometer scale (few-molecule scale) resolution. Through this work, students will use experimental tools including lasers and atomic force microscopes, computer modeling tools, and build samples with nanoscale features.
